Lemington Riverside Primary School

Our Governors

At Lemington Riverside Primary School, our Governing Body plays a vital role in the life and success of our school. Governors work in partnership with the Headteacher, staff, and the wider school community to ensure that every child has the best possible start to their education.

The Governing Body has three key responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership – setting the vision, ethos, and direction of the school.

  • Accountability – acting as a “critical friend” by supporting, challenging, and holding school leaders to account for the educational performance of pupils and the effective management of resources.

  • Ensuring Financial Probity – making sure the school’s money is well spent and always in the best interests of our children.

Our governors bring a wealth of experience and knowledge from a wide range of backgrounds, including education, business, community work, and as parents and carers. Together, they provide strong support and guidance while ensuring the school remains ambitious, inclusive, and firmly rooted in the heart of the Lemington community.

This section of our website gives you an insight into who our governors are and the important work they do.
