Year 6 leaver events 2025

Next week we say goodbye to our wonderful Class of 2025. 

We are so proud of each and every one of our Year 6 children for all that they have achieved during their time at Lemington Riverside and look forward to giving them a special send off next week.

LEAVERS PARTY: WEDNESDAY 16 JULY

We are delighted to host a leaving party for our Year 6 children here at the school between 4:30-6:00pm next Wednesday 16 July. 

There will be a DJ, buffet, games and prizes to be won! 

Parents/carers of Year 6 children are welcome to join us between 5:30-6:00pm for the end of the party. 

There is no cost for this event and children are welcome to wear their own choice of clothes. 

One more rendition of Cotton Eyed Joe anyone?!

T-SHIRT SIGNING: THURSDAY 17 JULY

If they would like to, children are welcome to get their white school shirts signed by friends and staff on the final day of term. 

GRADUATION CEREMONY: THURSDAY 17 JULY

Join us at 2:00pm on Thursday for a very special event as we say farewell to the Class of 2025 with our graduation ceremony. Parents, carers and grandparents are very welcome to join us for this special ceremony which will take place in our Main Hall - doors will open for the grown ups at 1:55pm.

Each child will have "their moment" during the ceremony and will be presented with their leaver hoodie. 

Bring the tissues as no doubt there will be smiles, laughter and a few tears too!

Children will be welcome to leave with their grown-ups after the ceremony and there will be lots of opportunities for photos. 

Finally, a huge thank you from us all at Lemington Riverside for working with us over the years as we have aimed to give your child an amazing primary school experience. We will miss all of our Year 6's as they depart, but are so proud of everything that they have achieved whilst at our school and just know they all have amazing futures ahead of them!
