Y5 Debating Competition at Newcastle Civic Centre

We are very proud of our Year 5 debating team who have today represented Lemington Riverside in the West End School's Trust (WEST) debating competition at Newcastle Civic Centre. 

The children were pitched in a debate versus pupils from Wingrove Primary School, themed around healthy meals.

The debate took place in the debating chambers - the home of democracy in our city!
