We've got another busy week ahead of us here at Lemington Riverside:

- PARENT/CARER EVENING APPOINTMENTS: We have our parent/carer evenings taking place on Tuesday (1st) and Wednesday (2nd) between 3:40-6:00pm this week. Slots should be booked online through our website. - ICE POP SALE: Some of our Year 4 children have decided to raise money for charities that help children around the world who are living in areas of conflict and war - a really kind gesture and we are very proud of them. On Wednesday 2 July, we will be selling ice pops at morning play-time priced at 50p each. All money raised will go to charity.

- YEAR 6 HEALTH & WELLBEING WEEK: Throughout this week our Year 6 children, alongside children from all other WEST Trust schools will be taking part in Health and Wellbeing Week. Today (Monday 30 June) they visit NUCastle Foundation for a day of health and wellbeing-related activities.

- BIG SING FOR MINI SINGERS: On Wednesday (2nd) children from Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 will visit The Glasshouse in Gateshead to take part in the 'Big Sing for Mini Singers' event. Children should wear their normal school uniform and will have lunch, as normal in school on this day.

With the hot, sunny weather continuing can we remind parents/carers to ensure your child has a sun-hat and water bottle in school with them. We also strongly encourage you to apply sun cream to your child before the school day.
